No reason for Swami Prakashanand Saraswati to stay in San Marcos

The moral repugnancy of expecting Swami Prakashanand Saraswati to stay in Hays County, given the circumstances, is now acknowledged. In 2015, the news is that a new blog outlines how the sentence of 280 to Swami Prakashanand Saraswati was punitive. In a TV interview after the trial, Hays County District Attorney said "It will send a message that this kind of behavior will not be torelarted in Hays County." Who was that message for? It is widely considered one of Hays County District Attorney's many threats against Hays County and San Marcos Indian Community.

The accusations against Swami Prakashanand Saraswati were mild: Kissing and touching of breasts under t-shirt. In such situation, there was no reason for Swami Prakashanand Saraswati to stay behind in San Marcos for a 280 year prison sentence. Swami Prakashanand Saraswati would have been 362 years old by the time he was released.

It's now 2015, and the million dollar hunt by US Marshals against the 90 year old elderly Indian man continues unabated.
